Blue Moon Milk

Try this soothing drink to calm the nerves and ease into sleep. Colored naturally with butterfly pea and fortified with ashwaganda root. Butterfly pea possesses calming properties, ideal before bedtime. Ashwaganda is a well known herb in Ayurvedic medicine, for the treatment of anxiety and stress. Wind down with this relaxing night time drink.

  • 2 cups milk of your choice, e.g soy/almond/rice/goat

  • 1/2 t. ashwaganda powder

  • 1/2 t. butterfly pea powder (or sub whole flowers, just be sure to strain them out)

  • honey (optional)

Pour milk into a small pan, adding ashwaganda, bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Add butterfly pea flowers or powder and honey. Stir and simmer an additional 2 minutes. Pour into a mug and enjoy hot or over ice.
